1,000 employees await outcome of review by Belgian parent

Belgian banking group KBC will on Thursday morning announce the outcome of its review of its Irish banking business.

More than 1,000 staff across the country will be awaiting the news. The parent company has said that it would consider all available options for the bank once it had become profitable – including staying and growing organically in Ireland, acquiring another financial services company or selling the business.
