Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin lashes out on referendum campaign

The chairman of British pubs group JD Wetherspoon, who was a strong backer of the campaign for Britain to leave the EU, has attacked what he described as "unprecedented and irresponsible doom-mongering" by supporters of the Remain side.

In comments accompanying a trading update, Tim Martin criticised British prime minister David Cameron, Chancellor George Osborne and Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, as well as the IMF.
