Watchdog extends its inquiry into CapVest acquisition
The Competition Authority has escalated its investigation into Valeo Foods’ bid to buy coffee and snack distributor Robert Roberts and health food firm Kelkin.
Valeo sealed a €60 million acquisition deal to buy the food businesses from DCC in September.
The Competition Authority has now sought further information on the deal, after a two week long review of the competition implications of the acquisition.
