Virgin’s UTV buyout could be cleared to proceed next month
Virgin Media, owner of TV3, confirmed €10m bid for UTV in July
TV3 expects the acquisition of UTV Ireland to be cleared by October at the earliest.
Virgin Media, the owner of TV3, confirmed in July that it planned to purchase UTV Ireland in a €10 million deal.
If the deal goes through, the TV3 Group, which includes TV3 and 3e, will run UTV Ireland.
