Union survey finds one in ten retail employees were attacked at work

One in ten retail workers have been physically abused in their workplace, with the vast majority calling for new legislation to protect them from abuse.

Some 44 per cent of retail workers experienced verbal abuse during the last 12 months, according to the survey carried out by Mandate Trade Union.
