Ulster Bank has lost a senior executive to rival Bank of Ireland, writes Emma Kennedy.

Sean L’Estrange, Ulster Bank’s head of lending and deposits, is set to join Bank of Ireland next month.

L’Estrange was instrumental in Ulster Bank’s recent return to the broker market. In April, the bank unveiled plans to sell mortgages via brokers for the first time since 2008 in a bid to boost its mortgage business....
