Gardaí are investigating two fatal shooting incidents that occurred in Dublin last night, the sixth and seventh gun murders in the capital in just over 11 weeks.

The first incident occurred at a pub in Summerhill in Dublin 1, shortly after 9.30 p.m. last night when two men entered the pub and shot a man in his mid-30s, the Garda press office said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
