Timmins won’t support any abortion legislation should he return to Dáil
Former Fine Gael TD Billy Timmins will not support any future abortion legislation as he seeks to return to the Dáil for the party at the next election.
Timmins was expelled from the party over his opposition to the Protection of Life during Pregnancy Act. He was later involved in founding Renua with Lucinda Creighton, but lost his seat in the 2016 General Election.
