Tesla's Elon Musk warns of nuclear conflict driven by religious extremism

The billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk has said that World War III could be on the way.

The developer of the Tesla electric car warned it would be "far worse" than previous conflicts and said the world could end up in a nuclear conflict driven by terrifying "growth of religious extremism".

Musk has been outspoken about the dangers of uncontrolled technology, famously warning that artificial intelligence could wipe humanity off the earth.
