Talent giant to buy UFC in $4 billion deal

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is to announce soon that it has sold itself to a group led by talent agency WWE-IMG for $4 billion, according to a report in the New York Times.

The paper quoted people with direct knowledge of the matter, adding that the deal was being backed by private equity groups Silver Lake, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Michael Dell's investment firm.
