Sodexo boss Margot Slattery urges firms to speak out on diversity

Slattery was last week named one of the 25 most powerful women in Ireland

Margot Slattery, the openly gay managing director, has said that the LGBT community is looking to employers for messages of support after the Orlando massacre, which left 49 people dead.

Slattery, who heads the integrated services giant Sodexo Ireland, said the Orlando shooting was a direct attack on the LGBT community and that businesses needed to step up to make staff feel safe.
