Soccer star Sol Campbell in race for London mayor

Sol Campbell, a former Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and England soccer player, put his name forward to be Tory candidate for London mayor.

Boris Johnson, a member of Prime Minister David Cameron’s Conservative Party, will step down as mayor when his term ends in May 2016 and the party is seeking a candidate who will match his cross-party popular appeal.
