Another week, and another furious row between Sinn Féin, the government and the Ceann Comhairle led to the repeated suspension of the Dáil.

Last Thursday’s rows followed the faintly comical standoff of a few weeks ago when Mary Lou McDonald refused to leave the Dáil chamber, leading to the suspension of the House until the following week.
