Santry Sports Clinic plotting new €15m concussion centre

The Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry is looking to raise €15 million in funding to set up and run a specialist European Comprehensive Concussion Centre in Dublin.

The concussion centre will be part of a research foundation at the clinic, which will draw together experts in a variety of injury types and pool their expertise.

Dr Andy Franklyn-Miller, who worked with the England rugby team, will be director of the foundation.
