San Leon Energy pays out €580,000 in legal dispute
Case related to a disagreement related to a Polish gas field
Irish oil and gas exploration company San Leon Energy has paid out €580,000 to the law firm that handled a €15 million legal dispute on its behalf, a source close to the company confirmed.
London law firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) sued San Leon for alleged unpaid fees and costs. It had been enlisted to defend San Leon in a multimillion dispute against Dutch investment group Avobone, at the International Court of Arbitration.
