Residential property prices edged higher during May

CSO says prices still 33 per cent below peak levels

Official figures show that growth in

residential property prices across the country slowed marginally during May.

The Central Statistics Office said prices rose by 0.2 per cent compared with April, giving an annual rate of increase of 6.9 per cent. The annual figure was the lowest since December last year.
