Tenants at a Dublin apartment building had their rents almost doubled days before government regulations on rent increases came into effect, The Sunday Business Post can reveal.
According to documents seen by The Sunday Business Post, a tenant at the Ice Rink apartments in Dolphin’s Barn paying €750 per month was told their rent was being revised to €1,425 per month. A second tenant had a rent increase from €900 to €1,625 a month....
