The Dublin Region Homeless Executive (DRHE) has dismissed concerns about its Placefinders Service, insisting properties are only offered to homeless people after it has secured agreement with landlords.

“All properties sourced by the Placefinders Service have secured agreement with the landlord,” it said.

The DRHE issued the statement after the scheme was criticised by homeless campaigner Erica Fleming.
