A maximum budget of €100,000 has been earmarked for the project
A new exhibition celebrating the presidency of Michael D Higgins will be developed as part of a major plan to revamp the visitor centre at Áras an Uachtaráin.
Items likely to be on display include clothing worn by President Higgins and his wife Sabina on state occasions as well as his presidential seal of office.
