Packaging firm sinks €8m into factory

Corrugated packaging company Rigid Containers has completed an €8 million investment in its Limerick city site and plans to increase staff numbers by 30 per cent.

Rigid Containers Limerick operates as a standalone unit producing corrugated packaging for a variety of sectors including consumer goods, food, pharma, and e-commerce.

Its customers include Glanbia, Kerry Foods, Allergan, Aryzta and Stauntons Foods as well as local businesses.
