Four people are in the running to become the next Revenue Commissioner.

The vacancy has arisen due to the impending retirement of Liam Irwin, who was appointed in 2008 as one of the state’s three revenue commissioners.

It could be a case of second time lucky for three of the candidates, who were also shortlisted when there was a previous revenue commissioner vacancy in 2014.
