Obeo, which sells biodegradable food waste boxes to homeowners, is expanding its reach to mainland Europe, the US and Canada.

The Dublin-based company has secured a listing with Amazon.eu and Amazon.com six months after it started selling through Amazon.co.uk.

Its co-founder and chief executive, Liz Fingleton, said the company will use the data coming through Amazon sales to determine which countries to expand its subscriber base to next.
