NUJ calls for equal pay for online journalists at Landmark Media, company says no

Online journalists are doing the same job as their colleagues working for print and should be paid accordingly, the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) has claimed.

The union has brought a case to the Labour Court on behalf of digital journalists at the Landmark Media Group which operates a number of websites including Breakingnews.ie and Irishexaminer.com – as well as running the Irish Examiner and a number of regional newspapers.
