Noonan reveals new IBRC inquiry terms

Finance minister Michael Noonan has broadened the scope of the commission of investigation into the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC).

The revised terms of reference for the inquiry, which will report by the end of the year, will allow it to investigate loans sales by the failed bank that resulted in losses of under €10 million which are “likely to give rise to potential public concern, in respect of the ultimate returns to the taxpayer.”...
