Up to 50 start-up female entrepreneurs living in rural areas are being sought to participate in a business initiative fully funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the Commission for the Economic Development of Rural Areas, writes Colette Sexton.
The ACORNS (Accelerating the Creation Of Rural Nascent Start-ups) programme is aimed at providing knowledge, support and networking opportunities to female entrepreneurs to help them to advance their businesses.
