Naughten to announce new subsidy regime for renewables

Energy minister Denis Naughten will tomorrow publish a consultation on the eagerly-awaited new subsidy regime for renewable energy.

The renewable energy industry has been waiting for details of how the government plans to support green technologies for months.

Sources said that the consultation will run until November, but can possibly be extended.
