The company behind the redevelopment of Phibsboro Shopping Centre on Dublin’s northside is closing in on a €16.5 million deal with GE for an office block in the city centre.

MM Capital, headed up by 33-year-old former Morgan Stanley banker Derek Poppinga and his business partner, Peter Leonard, is in the final stages of closing the deal for 31-36 Golden Lane in Dublin 8, just off George’s Street.
