Metro North call after strong airport figures
Dublin was best performer in Europe in first half of 2016
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce has called on the Government to bring forward the construction of Metro North after further strong growth figures at Dublin Airport.
Earlier this morning, figures from airports body ACI Europe showed that Dublin Airport was the fastest-growing major airport in Europe in the first six months of 2016, with passenger numbers up 13.3 per cent. This was well above the average of 4.9 per cent.
