Mercantile Group sinks €4m into revamp of venue and new club
Opium refurbishment part of €30 million investment programme across Dublin properties
Michael Breslin and Maurice Regan’s Opium venue reopened last week after a €4 million refurbishment and with a new nightclub.
The multi millionaires made their money in construction in the States but also have a keen interest in bars and other hospitality investments here and in the US.
Opium is one of the venues owned through their circa €50 million valued Mercantile Group, where they bought out fellow shareholders Danu Partners last year.
