Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, the fifth son of the multibillionaire king of Bahrain, has held early stage talks with the mixed martial arts (MMA) star Conor McGregor in a bid to convince him to join a team he is assembling.

The prince has already convinced two of Ireland’s most talented emerging fighters, Frans Mlambo and James Gallagher, to join the new team, called KHK.
