Traffic on Dublin’s heavily congested M50 motorway is growing at ten times the European average, an analysis of data from traffic counter cameras reveals.

Average daily traffic volumes on the M50 rose 10.3 per cent since 2013. In the last year alone, daily traffic volume has grown 6.9 per cent on the route, which joins many of the country’s key national primary routes.
