Luxembourg beats Ireland in race for major post-Brexit AIG investment

Sunday Business Post revealed concerns about the Central Bank of Ireland were factor in decision

Ireland has lost out to Luxembourg in the race for a major post-Brexit investment from American International Group (AIG), one of the world’s largest insurance companies.

In a statement AIG confirmed it has chosen Luxembourg as a new location to "ensure continued smooth operation of its business across the European Economic Area and Switzerland once the United Kingdom leaves the European Union".
