Lone Star and Oaktree bid for €4.7 billion Nama loans

Bad bank on track to meet third of sales forecast with disposal of portfolios

Lone Star and Oaktree are among bidders shortlisted for two portfolios of Nama loans with a combined face value of €4.7 billion, sources have revealed.

Cerberus is also bidding for both the Project Ruby and Project Emerald portfolios, owned by the bad bank which was set up in 2009 to take over €74 billion of commercial real estate loans and sell them over as many as 10 years.
