Former science minister Conor Lenihan has left his post with Russian multibillionaire Viktor Vekselberg’s Skolkovo Foundation.

Lenihan, who was appointed vice-president of the Moscow technology hub following the loss of his Dublin South West Dáil seat in 2011, was tasked with luring international companies to Moscow’s answer to Silicon Valley.

But the formerly Kremlin-backed foundation has lost support from the Putin regime in recent times, culminating in a police raid...
