Landlords in the wealthiest parts of Dublin can pocket more than the average industrial wage every year by listing their property on Airbnb rather than taking a full-time tenant, research by The Sunday Business Post shows.

The research, based on publicly available data from Airbnb and property website Daft.ie, shows that the average cash yield on an apartment in Dublin 2, 4 or 6 rented full time on Airbnb is €61,998.
