Kingspan trading profit rose by 72 per cent

Kingspan said its trading profit rose by 72 per cent to a record €256 million last year and revenue surged by 47 per cent to €2.8 billion, boosted by acquisitions which contributed 35 per cent to both sales and profit growth.

The building materials group, which said it has had a strong start to 2016, said its Joris Ide and Vicwest acquisitions performed ahead of its expectations and significantly expanded its presence in continental Europe and North America respectively.
