Jennifer Guinness, the wife of former Guinness Mahon Bank chairman John Guinness, has left €9 million in her will, new probate documents show.

Guinness, who was subjected to an eight-day hostage ordeal in April 1986 by kidnappers seeking to extort a ransom from her husband, died of cancer last year.
