The property developer Garrett Kelleher and the Irish- Canadian lawyer Martin Kenney are preparing their appeals in a US court after losing a bid to dismiss a charge of criminal contempt.

Judge Paul S Diamond denied the duo's motion for dismissal last week after the US Attorney’s Office argued that they had showed “disrespect for this court and the American justice system in general”.
