Irish TV set to ink Comcast deal for US reach

Mayo-based media start-up Irish TV is set to seal a deal with US giant Comcast which will see its content distributed in America on the broadcasting giant’s platform there. The deal will be announced in the coming weeks, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

The company has also opened negotiations with Netflix after the American company approached it with a view to carrying Irish TV’s content on its popular streaming service.
