An Irish barrister who allegedly advised Sean Dunne’s lawyers in 2012 on the beneficial ownership of Dublin 4 mansion Walford is to give sworn evidence in the developer’s American bankruptcy proceedings.

The US trustee Richard Coan has secured a High Court order, under the Foreign Tribunal Evidence Act, granting permission for a deposition from senior counsel Aoife Goodman despite objections from Dunne’s side that this would breach attorney-client privilege.
