Irish citizens on way to Palestine deported from Israel
Four Irish citizens were deported from Israel last weekend as they were about to begin a tour of Palestine.
All four activists have been travelling to Palestine for many years to visit the West Bank. Elaine Daly, the sister of independent socialist TD Clare Daly, was among the four who were deported by Israeli security. Daly has helped organise similar trips to the region for Irish people for more than a decade.
