Hudson hero Sully lends support to Ryanair pilots

The hero pilot responsible for the so-called ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ has come out in support of Ryanair pilots in their battle with Michael O’Leary.

Captain Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger landed US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson river in New York after it struck a flight of geese on takeoff from LaGuardia Airport in 2009, saving more than 150 lives.
