The supply of new homes may barely climb above 20,000 this year, according to one of the country’s biggest housebuilders.

Glenveagh Properties co-founder and chief operating officer Stephen Garvey told journalists that the state may not reach the requirement of 35,000 new homes every year, which is double what was built across in 2018.
