High-end fashion sector shakes off Brexit worries
Autumn traditionally most lucrative season for retailers
Consumer confidence is returning to the high-end fashion sector after a “rocky retail period” during the summer, according to designer Helen McAlinden.
“The first part of the year was very strong, but the summer was a bit shaky,” said McAlinden, who has her own boutique on South William Street in Dublin and who also sells in Arnotts on Henry Street and in House of Fraser branches in Dundrum, Belfast and Glasgow.
