GPs have turned to Twitter to condemn health management and the government for upping pressure on them amid a chronic shortage of resources.

Dozens of GPs have posted pictures of themselves with the hashtag #GPatWork in a bid to show HSE management and Minister for Health Leo Varadkar their commitment.

They accused Varadkar and HSE management of failing to engage with GPs or recognise the pressure primary care is now under.
