Garda whistleblowers are to get free legal advice about breaking the blue wall of silence.

Transparency International Ireland has been enlisted by Garda management to help make the force more supportive of whistleblowers.

It will provide an independent legal centre where Garda whistleblowers can seek advice and support before making a protected disclosure.
