One of the most senior Irish women in technology has said that the “pathetic” amount of funding that female founders get here “pisses her off”.

Sarah Friar, who is the chief financial officer of Square, a mobile payments company worth $23.6 billion, said that she sees a lot of energy and exciting ideas in the Irish start-up system, but she was disappointed at problems female founders face when launching companies.
