Examinership process saved 1,251 jobs in 2015

Mothercare was among the firms that successfully exited the examinership process this year, saving 250 jobs

The examinership process resulted in the saving of 1,251 jobs in 2015, up slightly from 1,243 the previous year and 832 in 2013, new figures show.

The Hughes Blake SME Examinership Index shows there has been a 49 per cent increase in the number of jobs saved through the process since cases first started to be heard in the Circuit Court as opposed to just the High Court.
