€18m bid for Carrickmines site

Same site sold for just €8 million only a year and a half ago

Cairn Homes, the publicly quoted home builder which raised €380 million for its debut in the Irish market, is understood to have completed an €18 million deal for a prime site at Carrickmines in Dublin.

Barrington Tower, located between the Brennanstown Road and the Luas Green Line, is set to become the fifth site in the Cairn Homes stable.

The company is thought to have concluded a deal with Starwood Capital and Irish property player...
