The Russian invasion of Ukraine is Europe’s 9/11. While the focus must clearly be on the devastation, loss of life and humanitarian crisis unfolding in Ukraine, this is an act of war that will affect Ireland’s economic, political and social structures in ways we have yet to fully appreciate.
